• Where is the North Pole Express Located?

The North Pole Express is located at McMillan Park. Located S Walnut St in Mount Pleasant. Driving directions can be found on the Directions page.

• Do you have parking on the grounds?

Yes, parking is located on the North end of the grounds, South of the Hillsboro Depot. Entrance and Exit are located on S. Walnut St. Next to the First Presbyterian Church.

• Does it cost to park?

No, Parking is free

• What does it cost to come to the North Pole Express and where do I buy tickets?

Cost $35.00 children under 18 months free

All Sales Are Final (no refunds) - our trains operate no matter the weather

Reservations begin Nov. 1st  online, watch our website for reservations link 

• What are the hours for the North Pole Express?

            Saturdays: 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm

            Sundays: 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, and 5 pm

• Can I purchase tickets at the depot the day of the event?

Tickets are made available the day of the event if the train is not sold out, however there is no guarantee that tickets will be available for purchase at train time.  If tickets are available they are sold on a first come first serve bases.

• Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, credit cards are accepted to purchase your tickets.  If trains are not 100% sold out on the day of the event, tickets may be available at the Depot the day of the event.  There is NO Guaranteed availability on the day of the event and are first come first served.   Credit cards are also accepted for purchases in the gift shop.

• When should we arrive prior to our reserved train time and how long does the event take?

You will need to arrive about 20 minutes before the event begins to pick up your official tickets at the North Depot and receive your coach assignments for the train.  The event itself lasts approximately 2 hours once the train departs Hillsboro Depot 

• How should we dress for the event?

Please dress appropriately for the weather, the coaches are not heated.  At the North Pole there is space and zone heated and non-heated areas.  You will find that if dressed appropriately it is really quite comfortable even on the coldest days.
