No. 2 Restoration

The Baldwin No. 2 Engine is being rebuilt. As you can see from the picture, there is much work to be done. Some of the plans for it include: frame work, wheel work, running gear, valve gear, spring rigging, a new boiler, pistons, rings, rods, tender trucks . . . and everything in between. Watch for updates as the 2 restoration project is undertaken. 

Restoration work has began on the No. 2. This picture is taken from a day of sand blasting.
